Hello, I’m Mags,
I am a graphic designer by trade, printmaker and educator based in South East London. Galley is my studio for bold linoprints, cozy paper goods and relaxed creative workshops. More than a decade in design brings a considered eye to everything I make, while printing by hand keeps it warm, tactile and human.

The name Galley, comes from traditional typesetting. A galley was a metal tray used to hold arranged type before it went to press. A place for testing, adjusting and refining ideas. That balance of careful design and inky experimentation sits at the heart of Galley.
